By using Plant Compass, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The service
Plant Compass provides plant-placement guidance based on solar geometry and general plant light needs. It's a helpful estimate, not a guarantee. Real results vary with window size, glass, weather, foliage, and care, so use it as a strong starting point rather than absolute fact.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information when signing up.
Plant Compass Pro (subscription)
- Pro lets you add unlimited plants (the free plan is limited to three) and unlocks the window scan and photo plant-identification features, for $2.99 per month.
- Purchases are billed through your Apple App Store account. The subscription auto-renews each month until cancelled.
- Cancel anytime in your App Store account settings; access continues until the end of the current period. Manage or cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, no unlawful use, and no uploading content you don't have the right to submit.
Third-party data
Maps, building outlines, and plant identification come from third-party providers (e.g. OpenStreetMap, Google, Pl@ntNet). We don't control and can't guarantee their accuracy or availability.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plant Compass isn't liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for plant loss, so keep caring for your plants the old-fashioned way too.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
